"I am a parent of a son with developmental disabilities on the autism spectrum.  It was very important for our family to have the peace of mind in finding a loving, caring and community based environment for our son.

Urban Autism Solutions has met this hope and dream, offering vocational opportunities and social skills support. Allowing him to mature and live with other young adults in a safe and loving home. We are forever thankful that our persistence brought us to this wonderful foundation. "

D.R. Parent of a 1212 Resident

"The fact that JMTF exists gave my son a stepping stone from isolation to socialization. This was key in his recovery. Self-worth by belonging to a group is instrumental to one’s happiness."

V.K. Parent of a Network 1212 Participant

"I am in awe of the passion and dedication of Urban Autism Solutions, and how their concern for enriching the lives of young people with autism has taken shape. UAS is providing real life experiences and safe spaces for these young people, as well as opportunities for fun and fellowship throughout the city.

I have been blessed to know Julie and Michael Tracy for several years, and they are incredible people with a mission to make a difference in the world of autism…. and they are."

Paula J. Brown, MBA Manager, Diversity & Inclusion Office for Equal Opportunity Rush University Medical Center

"Urban Autism Solutions is the first autism-based group that my brother has willingly and enthusiastically attended.  Everyone we’ve met at UAS has been inclusive, gracious, knowledgeable and kind.  Matt has attended cooking classes, baseball games, and movie nights and always comes home from these events stating how much fun he had.  These events have become the cornerstone of his social life. For the first time in his adult life, he has the opportunity to participate in age-appropriate activities that aren’t facilitated by family members.  My family is incredibly grateful to UAS for everything they are doing to support those on the autism spectrum."
